Dr. Tara Cuskley offers psychotherapy and coaching sessions which address the mental, emotional, somatic, and spiritual aspects of the human experience.  Dr. Cuskley works with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) methods, creative visualization, Emotional Freedom technique (EFT) and somatic work for clients.

Foundations for this work include transpersonal psychology, which focuses on the spiritual connections and experiences which link our human minds with higher states of consciousness, and positive psychology, which focuses on human flourishing and creating the conditions for thriving in our lives.

These sessions may be right for those on a self-growth path, dealing with everyday stress, life changes, spiritual awakenings, relationship patterns, traumatic reactions, or psychological symptoms like anxiety or depression. Coaching and psychotherapy work can move you forward so that life can include greater feelings of clarity, joy, peace, and freedom.

Goals for therapy and coaching sessions are tailored to your personal spiritual or life path, including, but not limited to:

  • Uncovering and living your life purpose and meeting life goals.

  • Reconnecting to Higher Self wisdom and guidance.

  • Adjusting negative core beliefs or behaviors into healthy patterns of thinking.

  • Healing relationship patterns, and nurturing conscious or soul-based relationships.

  • Identifying and living from your core values.

  • Daily integration of meditation, mindfulness, and energy clearing practices.

  • Managing sudden kundalini or spiritual awakenings.

  • Understanding life lessons or karmic patterns.

  • Trauma healing.

  • Healing the internal shadow, inner child, or difficult psychological symptoms such as depression or anxiety.

  • Visualization, dream work, and shamanic journey work.

Sessions are typically 45 minutes, offered weekly or biweekly.

For residence outside of NY, they are conducted via Skype, Zoom or FaceTime.

Sessions may be conducted in-office or remotely for NY state residents and may be eligible for out-of-network insurance benefits.
